At Flawless Auto Spa, automotive restoration and mechanical repair are rooted in local accountability and over a decade of hands-on discipline.
"Treat Your Car to a Day at the Spa"
I was born and raised in Miles City, Montana. I started detailing at 17 at Carnu Detail in Billings. At the time, Carnu was owned by Rimrock Auto Group and handled the group's new-car and trade-in details. That shop gave me my start, and the quality of my work earned me an opportunity to train for the lot manager position at Subaru in Billings, part of the same auto group. I went on to become the lot manager.
At Subaru, I checked new vehicles into the computer system, coordinated aftermarket equipment appointments, and sent new cars and trade-ins back to Carnu for detailing. Dealer trades took me to other Subaru dealerships, towing vehicles to exchange them for different models or trim levels. I also cleaned customers' cars before delivery and sometimes delivered vehicles across Montana, walking customers through sales and finance paperwork on behalf of our finance manager.
That experience showed me the automotive industry from a lot of angles—the good parts and the parts I wanted to do differently. Treating people fairly became a priority, even when that meant taking home less myself, especially when I was starting out.
After my time at Subaru, I opened my own business. About half a decade later, I built on that hands-on experience by earning my Automotive Technologies certificate at Miles Community College.
My fascination with Subarus started at the dealership. I soaked up everything I could learn and bought a brand-new WRX that I promptly spent far too much money modifying. Along the way, I've made mistakes, learned expensive lessons, and kept building on what those experiences taught me. That curiosity still drives the Subaru projects, repairs, and detailing work I do today.
Over more than a decade, I've revised my pricing again and again to find a system that works for both my customers and a small shop. I want the work and the price to make sense. If a final price feels unfair for the work involved, I often adjust it or offer a discount. That's my judgment on an individual job, not a standing promotion.

We clearly define what each package provides. Express Interior ($90) is a 3-hour refresh, while Full Interior ($150+) includes deep vacuuming, surfaces, windows, headliner, and mats, with optional cloth seat ($20) and carpet ($20) shampoos available.
Detail drop-offs take place at 8:00 AM Monday through Saturday. Full interior + exterior combos require at least one full booked day and coordinated vehicle handoff.
Mobile service is strictly limited to Express Interior ($90) upon Brian's direct confirmation regarding weather and travel distance. All major corrections and deep packages are handled in-shop.
Beyond detailing, Brian provides small mechanical repairs ($80/hr + parts), oil change service ($25 plus oil), windshield wipers ($30), hardwired dash camera installation ($200), and specialized Subaru maintenance in Miles City.
All automotive parts must be paid for in advance after you approve the estimate, before parts are ordered. As a small shop already investing in Subaru projects, I can't carry customers' parts costs. Brian confirms the repair scope, labor estimate, and timing before work begins.
